Welcome to Maple Class! I am Miss Munslow and I am the Maple Class teacher. I moved to Wiltshire over the summer after completing my NQT year in Lincolnshire with a year 3 class. I completed my teacher training at Leeds Beckett University where I specialised in the teaching of modern foreign languages at primary level.
I am a very active person and I enjoy going to the gym or for a run in my spare time. When I lived in Lincolnshire I trained and competed in athletics competitions and I am always looking for a new fitness challenge to sign myself up for! I have always been very ‘outdoorsy’ and I’m really looking forward to using the forest school area for some excellent outdoor learning opportunities this year.
I believe in making learning exciting and engaging, as well as challenging, to help every child reach their full potential. I support children in their journey to becoming independent learners by giving them open access to a wide range of resources that they help themselves to during tasks– it’s their classroom just as much as it is mine!
A good home-school relationship helps to make children feel secure and will assist their learning and development. My door is always open for any questions or queries you may have, or just to say hello!
