Welcome to St Mary's Broughton Gifford

St. Mary's is currently going through an exciting period of refurbishment to improve our existing school which is at the heart of a rural village midway between Melksham and Bradford-on-Avon. We are fortunate to enjoy spacious grounds behind the school include a playing field, netball court, vegetable garden, quiet play area and a woodland - used for Forest School activities.  In 2017 we were granted funds to totally refurbish the school, as well as add on a new hall to accommodate our ever growing numbers whilst maintaining our ‘village school.’

Our school's Christian foundation prioritises the development of the whole child in a happy, secure and stimulating learning environment where they are encouraged to enquire, reflect on and respect others’ points of view.

There is a strong partnership between school and parents and a commitment to inspire and challenge each pupil to achieve their best.  All successes, however small, are recognised and celebrated.

We aspire for our children to leave St. Mary's as motivated, enthusiastic lifelong learners and leaders and as confident, responsible members of the wider community.   Our aim is to prepare them to strive for the best, not only for themselves but also for those needing their support.
