We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and experienced teacher with strong classroom management skills who will work alongside staff in the continuing development of teaching and learning within our school. The role of the successful applicant will be to work alongside class teachers in KS1/ KS2 to provide interventions maninly for PP and SEND children.  Situated in beautiful countryside, we are a happy and caring school with supportive parents, governors and staff.  You will:

  • have a passion for education
  • be an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • To take responsibility for planning and implementing appropriate work
  • programmes for all children in the designated classes or groups, within
  • the framework of national and school policies
  • have excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with class teachers re the progress of any child that will be supported by the applicant
  • excellent organisation skills to create your own schedule for intervention
  • be able to anaylse data to inform strategies for improvement
  • be a role model for all children 
  • To maintain assessment records and report on pupils’ progress to senior staff and to parents and carers, in accordance with school policy
  • be able to adapt and change learning to meet the needs of individual children.

This post will be temporary until the summer 2018.

Please note the successful applicant will be expected to work either every morning or every afternoon.
